Rice is one of my favorite foods. I use a sauce pan without any problems at all, but this rice talk has motivated me to consider a rice cooker. This talk has also made me hungry for rice, and I just ate.

I'm about to put some rice in this burrito. I got that Zojirushi for $35. Being seasonal employee at a retailer has some benefits. I sort of want to stock up on nice kitchen stuff while I have this going on.

I love burritos as homemade food. Super easy and convenient. STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO WRAP THE FUCKING THINGS THO.

P.S. if anyone would like to leave a message for fuji to read, now is probably the time.

Yea, they have been a staple lately. Usually do ground beef, sirloin, or carnitas from the crock pot. I roll it like the chipotle noobs do.

I eat a kilo of rice 4 days a week. This would be unmanageable without a rice cooker.

wtf is the point of a rice cooker. Just seems like a dumb thing to me to have an entire appliance to cook something you can so easily do on the stove or in the microwave.

Rice cookers are awesome. No need for an expensive one. A $50 one will do just fine

I used to throw in some rice, canned diced tomatoes, beans, spices and chicken bullion. Yummy.

Some people lol. I remember someone in here was complaining about juicers. What's wrong with convenience?

You can also use a crockpot as a rice cooker, but it's a bit of technique to get right.
