If my elbows don't get better with a good vitamin I regimen over the next week or two, I'm going to lay off from pressing for 2-4 weeks. I'd likely have to do something similar to what you're doing to be able to make reasonable gains in that interim since it cuts way into what I'm currently doing.

Much better. Everything going up.

I wasn't moving on squats and bench for ages until I started doing them 3x a week.

Got ambulanced yesterday out of uni yesterday, i'm so fucking edgy. Was too messy for my 9am and had an ambulance called. Paramedics were giving me so much shit. What are you going into after uni (always say investment banking because commoners don't know the intriscities of quant trading) and from there on out it was just some para giving me shit about how the country is going to be run by fucks like me. Asked if he was mad my $200bn fund is 50% pensions, was saying how he works such long hours and is paid shit, asked if he could financial model without a mouse till 5am and still use v look up. Then had some go at investment bankers closing hospitals, asked how M&A is closing hospitals then pulled the lloyd blankfein and told him we're just doing the lords work.

Been talking to this girl for about a month now, met on new years quite nice very like charitable and creative, doesn't care about money, also mental health issues but that is the norm. Asked me why nurses make less money then bankers when they work harder (debatable. Said it's because your pay isn't on how hard your job is, its on if you generate revenue. She wasn't mad <3 said she wont judge me on different opinions <3 <3 <3 <3

There is no definite need to split muscles or movements over different days. You can work the same muscles consecutive days or even every day (preferably with slightly different movements) with good results, if you adjust intensity and volume accordingly. It will just suck in the beginning, and you'll prob feel like shit squatting two or three days in a row the first month. You'll prob also get weaker first, but if you just keep at it, you'll adapt. Also smart to up the frequency slowly, eg. first one more day, then two more days, then three, etc...

Fuji has all the feels today.

Like literally all kinds of different feels. Those two paragraphs pretty much captured the entire spectrum of human emotion.

I hit back every workout.

Yea I def like hitting stuff multiple times a week. I finish every workout with delts/arms/abs (it doesn't show yet) and I bench and squat nearly 3x a week.

Lats and rear delts was the first muscle group I started with high frequency. Did upper/lower back then so I hit them 4x a week.

The biggest benefit I see with higher frequency is that you get more chances to improve your technique and you can easier reach a high volume with a heavy enough weight.

I counted my working sets for a regular week a while back, and got 40 for legs, 35 for presses, and 35 for the back. That would def be hard for me to reach with lower frequency, like 2x a week.

All the videos I see say that the weight should be concentrated on the heels of your feet as if you're pushing through the ground. I find it next to impossible to do this.
My friend U R Asian, why can't you squat? confused.gif

A lot of lifters advocate keeping the weight mid-foot rather than heels. I used to try to put the weight on my heels but I've since discovered that it's much more comfortable for me to keep the weight mid-foot, and I'm stronger that way too.

shog[1].gif

I'm convinced that my long legs make deadlifts and squats much more difficult. The only type of deadlift I can do reasonably comfortably is the sumo deadlift.

That makes me feel better. I guess for me, at the end of the day, I want to make sure I'm doing them right so as to prevent injuries first and foremost. The last time I did squats, I developed a dull ache in my right knee that would pop up with every step I took. I had to take it easy for over a month before it went away.
