Got a meet coming up on saturday.

I don't expect any great results as I'm still not back at my old weights for squats and I have only been able to DL heavy for a couple of weeks. The meet is not prioritized either so I haven't tapered the training. Bench has been going really well though and I feel pretty strong in that lift, so it's gonna be interesting to see where my new max is.

Dling 200kg next week but worried about my grip. Any quick tricks, like using the sticky sweat from the bottom of your scrotum as a quick-n-easy chalk?

I've heard some people say spray/roll-on deodorant on the hands 10 mins before but haven't tried it myself.

^^you using a mixed grip? (if not, disregard the following). Not a quick tip, but do more overhand grip DL´s. I do around 170 kg with a overhand grip without problem..

Went light on the chest stuff yesterday for db flyes and bench stuff. No pain during or after. Going to try keeping up with vitamin i for a week or two and see how it does.

I assume you already use mixed grip and chalk?

Lol charly, one of the posters on swd was talking about how much of a beast you are at a Boston meet up on Sat. Said he'd be terrified of meeting you because you could probably eat him for breakfast...and still be hungry.

5x 3x 3x two plate bench brahs, felt good to finally hit that mark. Squat's back up to 300 so 525 plus whatever my deadlift is. Further from 1000 than I want to be but making solid progress. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Starting to feel like a fat fuck though. Hoping to hit my goals and get a full cut in by August when I move.

I'm 5'7", last time I weighed like a week ago I was at 188. No idea what I'll be cutting to until I'm probably a solid month into the cut to see how it all shakes out, but if I had to guess it'd probably be ~20-30 lbs from the end of this bulk to really lean out. If I hit 1000 lbs by the end of April I'll have three whole months to cut, though, which is ambitious but definitely doable.

I think my goals to hit 1000 right now would be 250 bench, 350 squat, 400 dead lift.

Currently doing two bench/incline days MF and one squat day W to work on developing my upper body more because it's underdeveloped compared to my legs IMO. Once I hit ~240 bench I'll switch up to squat Monday, bench Wednesday, dead lift Friday and work on getting those numbers up.
