So after that shitty squats session left me with a painful lower back, I went to see my ART therapist. She fixed my back. I did some sumo pulls today, kept it super light, 135 to 175 lbs but did 10 to 15 reps hoping to get some hypertrophy but feared I might re-fuck my back...Did 5 sets including warm up and almost squat the weight because I really tired to keep that upright back. So far, no pain. We'll see about it tomorrow. I might be recovered enough to go back doing sumo pull but need to restart really really really light. Feeling content and happy atm. :D

 

Also, after a few weeks of doing curls and super sets with reverse curls, my right arm is almost 17 inches when flexed! WTF!!! How the fuck did I get so much hypertrophy in just a few weeks?! I had to remeasure them twice! Couldn't believe it!

I am really loving riding my trainer. I can muster about 20 minutes/ 4 miles at a weak ass ~100W. Just looking to build endurance/base miles now... once I can sustain that for an hour, then we engage beast mode. Forgot how much I enjoy biking, even when I'm not getting anywhere.

Deficit hasnt started to take its toll but its been like 4 days lol.

Finally done with interviews. Loved UMass today. Tie between there and einstein for a first choice.

 

Also glad to be done traveling. I think I should probably get back in the gym tomorrow or this weekend. Lets see how it goes. I really want to start lifting over lunch if I can manage it. Everything just feels better.

I was hitting 21+W/Kg in sprints. Peak sprint wattage was 1430 or something like that.

Moved all my gym shit into the basement today. Washed the rubber flooring and set it up. Cleaned all the ice and mud off my db's and bench. Set up some stringers on the wall ready for pull-up bar and dip set up.
Also took my prowler down there and screwed some 1/2" plastic on the bottom and it works way better than it ever did on the grass in my yard. I've got about 60 feet from one wall to the other to use the sled, it's like getting a brand new piece of equipment.
10 more days and the new rack will be here along with some 110 and 125lb dbs and 4 more 45 bumpers.
I'm really hoping this goes as planned and I can train at home 365 days/year.

Yeah, stopped riding due to knee issues. Hoping to start again slow this spring. 


And to be honest, my sprint could win me races, but I didn't have the threshold to be in the mix at the end at times. It was coming around since I was getting better at tactics and hiding and not wasting energy. The best I ever did was 2nd in my cat, which isn't that impressive. I couldn't keep up with some of the stronger riders, but could beat them in a sprint if that makes any sense. Great top end but little staying power. 

I'd like to ride more in grad school, but we'll see how that goes. I miss it at times.

Yup, hoping to come within 200 pounds of his total this year.

Next year, we'll be more neck to neck as I have will pull out a few tricks from my sleeves.

I have a date tomorrow rhet. This will be my first one ever, what do I do? What do I wear? The way I met my last gf was asking if she wanted to try bake an illicit chemical into an oreo cup cake. This one also works for amnesty international so she's like moral and shit.
