I'd be pretty upset if my girlfriend wanted to put a treadmill in our place. 30lbs loss is awesome, she probably put a bit back on because that's a lot of weight!
two plate bench, what's your rep PR right now? my bench goes up so slow, but progress is progress. I can do 4 x 10 with my 1RM from last year, that's progress but still my worst lift.
I just crushed 215 so I'll be trying 3x5x220 next time. I never do 1rm.
She's 5'0" and her cutting calories should be like 1000/day but she refuses to do that because everyone says going under 1200 is "dangerous" which is obviously bullshit because she's fucking tiny. Her stupid personal trainer that I bought her said that too, he actually had her up her calories which I get that she should have more because of what he was having her do but IMO what he's having her focus on is dumb. It's all cardio high rep low weight shit that tires her out. Great, she's improved her cardio conditioning and it helps a little bit with weight loss. TBH she has lost weight too obviously (30lbs aint no joke) but aside from getting back into the swing of things she should be focusing a lot on doing the same things but adding in weight lifting and cutting her calories down further. I think she has like another 20 lbs to lose.
She doesn't listen to me ever though until she's really frustrated about not making progress and then maybe she'll take my advice so we'll see how long it takes for her to come around.
