Been only working on upper since injuring my back. My back feels fine but I'm just worried I'm going to reinjure it. I'll probably start lower again this week. Also going to prep some meals today for the week.

Blah...Free Market Economics...Conservatives... Gross.  Would choose Stern over Booth and Tuck over them both, but I love New England.

Congrats if you get in though man!

This is just a couple hours a week maybe 2 or 3 during term time so I have extra money. Didn't even apply for it, just went to see the women who handles my special needs stuff and we were talking about my exam scores and she asked if i wanted to teach. I will probably not go into banking though. I'm going to be doing a masters in financial engineering at either LSE or possibly imperial if they can convince me to part with another $16k then i'll apply for some kind of quant job in either trading or research at a bank or asset management fund. I think it'll give me a better quality of life then banking and I think banking would be a waste of my intelligence. Learning some coding too

I'm more of a Keynesian but I think that Stern is a worse program overall, and has worse positioning for PE. Also think Booth's academics are stronger, though I like Stern's focus on leadership which Booth is lacking.

Nah, I like maths, more fun then filling out spread sheets and powerpoint presentations and if im good ill make more money.

Flatmate has reported me to my uni about steroid use. Luckily they are legal in the UK and the university already knew about them. That's how I got this job actually, I got called into to talk to the person who handles my disability stuff and she agreed my flat mate is a cunt and said they're not doing anything about it and even if she reports it to my landlord its all legal in the uk anyway and then asked if i'd like to teach. She also called my psychiatrist pretending to be my mum, which is a bit creepy.

Yohji thread in SW&D is absolutely hilarious right now. Like the last 3-4 pages or so.

You need to replace your flatmate, immediately.

I don't think it matters, she can report me to my landlord, the police, my uni. Gear is completely legal in the UK and the police can't search your house unless you've already been convicted of a crime and anyway i have no illegal drugs in here. Landlord can't evict me because I haven't breached the contract and there are so many laws in the UK on evicting someone it would take years. If you leave your house unlocked and someone goes in you can't even kick them out. University also recommended she sees a psychiatrist which i thought was quite funny. She sees one already for her anxiety, takes some benzos for it. I don't think she realises universities in the UK offer much less care to their students then in the states. There's no registers, no one to check if your doing your homework, no disciplinary action, just an exam at the end of the year that counts for 100% of your grade.

I tried doing lat pulldowns using the super close grip attachment (wtf is it called? Ppl use it for seated cable rows) and felt it in my back like woah. Going to try doing it this way for a bit cause it feels awesome!

1. That's fucked up. Get her booted...She sounds awful. You live with someone that calls your shrink pretending to be your mother? WTF?

2. Yes. Seriously, when bene is talking as if he's some sort of authority, you know something is clearly wrong. He should go back to wearing vagina coats.

That's the one! Never thought about using it for pulldowns.

Doing facepulls seated is amazingly effective. Can totally brace your core and lower body and just focus on contracting the read delts.

Vs doing them standing? I'll try this on the seated row machine today. Or I can do them by sitting on a bench and using an adjustable cable tower.

Yeah vs standing, I do them on the seated row machine, since you can brace your legs. theoretically you could do them with a bench and weight tower, but youd be missing out on that whole bracing aspect which is what i think really makes it.
