Back to high frequency training.

5x a week again, but this time all three lifts every session, plus accessories and conditioning.

Think I'm gonna survive it this time since the training maxes for squat and deadlift are adjusted down quite a lot to spare the knees.

Wife made some good chicken chili verde. Would be great over some rice or even in a burrito. Going to roast a chicken tonight for the first time. Didn't brine it this time. Going to use Thomas Keller's recipe.

I had good results with his recipe. Very very simple but delicious.

just tasted like beef to me. Had 500g pan fried with 2 onions some paprika, chilli and salt. Only eating it instead because I can't get beef as lean and it's cheap. Might make it into a burger next time.

Never had horse meat. I love venison though. Is it similar?

I've reacquainted myself with pork roasts. So fatty but so good. I wonder why pork fat tastes so much better than beef fat. Maybe different triglycerides?

I need to get an instant read thermometer so bad. Been holding out for a Thermapen, but I think I will drop $20-25 on a cheaper model.

so like, how much protein do you really need? I read that .80g/lb is fine and anything over isn't gonna make much of a difference. I try not to consume more two scoops/50g of whey per day, so that's 140g required from food at about 190lb bw, been busy lately and not cooking so it's been hard to hit the macro, haven't noticed anything at the gym.

I have been doing OK with about .8-.9g/lb

You could probably get away with a little less than that. Most of mine is from whey as well.
