Deadlifts dropseted to Deficit Deadlifts is a regular in my program, as is Deadlifts from blocks dropseted to regular deadlifts.
Worst lift ever though is "slow squats" - 4sec down and 4sec up, no rest between reps. TUT monster. Not accelerating up as fast as you can and want to is brutal.
Yeah Dead drops don't sound fun.
Only Deads I do now though are RDL's and Snatch Grips so there's no chance of me even trying them haha.
The thing about drop sets on bulgarians is that you get through one "set" and you still have to do the other fucking leg.
I did them in front of squat rack, holding on with 1 arm, so you only hold 1 DB. I did the standard 3 sets of 10 with 2 db's first then the forth set was this monster:
I went 140 x 12, 110x8, 90x8, 50x6, bodyweight x 7
Thought for sure I would puke.
Heaviest DB's I have at home are 100's and I don't have a full run (only 45's, 65, 75, 85, 100's) so when I go to the Y I tend to do more "fun" stuff.
And now I'm eating chips and dip and oreo's. dat hypertrophy.
