True but an old house that was built in the 30's and in bad shape, and in a working class neighborhood kind of is. You can sell it and take your CA money to buy a nice house some where for a nice retirement.

House prices in a NZ are ridulously overvalued. I really hope the bubble pops but it's kinda exacerbated by the fact that there's no capital gains tax so those with capital can just buy and flip for fun while those without have to get a ridiculous mortgage to get a foot on the ladder.

I know there are some New Yorkers here, so if I am absolutely desperate and need to buy a cheap-o throwaway suit to wear the same day (so I need separates), where should I go? Syms?

Not SF, but my boss pays $9000 a month in RENT to live in Williamsburg, ridiculous.

If you got the time i'd check out century 21, you can probably get something nicer than Syms, but syms will probably hook you up right quick.

I know this has been discussed ad infinitum here, but I just put on a pair of 514s I haven't worn all summer, and dammit they fit like jeggings in the thighs now. I need to get the stretch kind from now on.

stinky rat by marc jacobs, and they always go to deep sale

Also, a friend pays like 3k a mth for a 3 br house with a small back yard in sunset, is that still considered sf, as in "the city"

Sunset is a street in LA. When someone says "on Sunset" they're likely referring to the Sunset strip which is just a part of Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood.

I feel your pain, bro. My Iron Heart gotten tight in the waist area. They were too heavy to wear during the summer. I stuff the waist full of other jeans to stretch them out for a few weeks. I put them on last night and they fit pretty damn well.
