I thought about doing something like this
How do you keep from killing yourself from the boredom... thats the biggest challenge of it for me.
Bene, I've had good results so far lifting 3 days a week and doing some other stuff 1-2 days a week (yoga, swimming, whatever). Going to start boxing soon as cardio to keep sane over the winter. Should be fun.
This is what I do in the gym and I can get out of these in about 45-60 mins if I don't waste time or take too long between sets.
Day 1: Chest/back
1) Flat Db press and seated row
2) Incline db press and lat pulldown
3) Cable flyes and ab work
My back grows pretty fast, so I do an extra chest exercise.
Day 2: Shoulders/Legs
1) Superset of: seated db military press, db lateral raises, cable face pulls, and lunges. I just do a circuit of the four of these and take a rest between each circuit.
2) Some leg curls/extensions.
Day 3: arm stuff. (cgbp, preacher curl, tricep pulldown, db curl, in supersets etc)
Honestly if you just alternate Day 1 (maybe add deads if you do those) and 2 and throw in whatever leg stuff you do (squats?) then you can add a superset for tri and bi on each of the days, you'd be fine. You'd get through 1.5 cycles a week and could still do some cardio or whatnot if you wanted. Each of those sessions would take you about an hour if not just a hair more. I usually go lighter but do 5x10.
