@GN. I will be thrilled if that happens anytime soon but don't hold your breath. Sizing is all over the map but my stuff fits my true 48 frame well.

LoL. I forgot you used to be a SA at Barneys.

I really hate NYSC and miss my old YMCA gym.

Olympic barbells have varying diameters and weights, apparently. My old gym had brand new bars that were 45# and small diameter (easy to grip). I got to 3x365 under over there. NYSC is a combo of narrow but completely worn down old barbells and new fat barbells. The old barbells fit in my hooks but are slippery as shit, the new barbells have a lot of grip but are too fat to hold right.

Plus to add to it all, the old gym was in Bedstuy and the eye candy was much more... urban and bold. I miss it, I think I will go lift there in the summer once or twice.

I'm slightly above ~300lb x 5 reps on DL and my grip is close to giving way. I've very against straps, but chalk might be ok. But I still feel I've gotta be 400+ to not look like a dumb dick using chalk.

Chalk is cool whenever, you just can't have chalk sprezz (like chalk all over your clothes/body) unless you are putting up serious weight.

I've asked this a few times in the quick questions thread in streetwear without any luck:

I'm looking for workout shorts that are especially slim in the thigh. I have thin thighs and all of my workout shorts wave like flags from my legs even in the smallest sizes. I've seen some high end stuff occasionally that seems to be slim fitting (equivalent to Geller sweats for instance) but I don't want to spend over $100. Any recommendations?

I've been keeping carbs real low all week since I haven't been lifting, but that will change tomorrow. There's an absurd number of March birthdays in the family, so we're having a gathering tomorrow afternoon/evening. Multiple cakes and ice cream are the guests of honor.

mrchariybrown's posts inspire me to do another round or two of UD2.0. The carb loads were epic when I did them before...
