Just posting here to say rippetoe has cost me a lot of money from having to resell jeans I can no longer fit into. On the bright side I gained about 50lbs+ on bench and squat, the dark side again, I can barely fit into slim jeans and am afraid to buy them for fear of gaining more thigh width. But should've realized relaxed fits is better anyway on tall/well built people.
pair of squat stands
pair of squat stands with safeties
assorted crap, more plates, adjustable kettlebells, fat gripz etc
my work wants me to upgrade some of the junk we have in our basement since i told them they'd be stupid to buy it brand new. powerblocks, pressing stand and a set of squat stands are going to my work gym; i'm also going to cop a cheap 300lb olympic set from dick's for work next time i cross over into the land of the free. i was pretty pumped until a manager asked me if i could find a treadclimber for them, since one of her friends used one to lose fifty pounds. ugh... i guess a bike, elliptical, and regular treadmill aren't enough.
the rest is mine, space is going to be a serious concern now for when i am able to use it all. glad i finally found a hex bar and a solid pulldown.
Awesome! I've yet been to Nanjing. I've always wanted to go there to visit the massacre site and pay my respects.
Damn bro! You are a BEAST!!!
My apt in Manhattan was a corner unit with one side facing 3rd ave. We lived there for 3 years and I don't think I got 1 good night sleep. Shit is damn near luxurious down here by comparison. Cant wait to get a house and throw some programmable thermostats in. Take it down to like 67 for bed time and then have it hit us with a 75-80 degree wake up blast. I'm hoping to put a zoned split AC in too. Im an HVAC/building energy specialist so this shit is gonna be a lot of fun for me.
Loving the new gig as well. Time to turn up the Excel geekage to 11. Nested conditionals with VLOOKUPS.... Im in love
Yeah, the museum that they created for the massacre is probably the most well done, moving museums I've ever been to. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in Nanjing.
One an unrelated note, the DOMS have decreased significantly this second week back lifting. A couple more weeks and hopefully I'll get a good amount of strength back.
