Mine only has 100's. My old one used to have up to 120's I think. Or maybe it was 150.

All about them heavy rows. I was up to 3x7x145 a while back and for some reason I stopped. I'm up to 3x7x135 now

@GraphicNovelty, I think you gave me the berry one actually. It was pretty good. I'm going to buy a box or two as a joke gift for one of the surgeons I work for. Well. Maybe a few bars. 2 boxes is like 60 bucks!

Yeah. I work in higher rep ranges though. I was doing like 3-4 sets of 10-12 with 120's. My back was pretty jacked. I actually haven't been doing rows lately at all since they got new benches. They're too fucking low. It sucks.

Ease of transport?

Also those bars are pretty heavy. Two of them are decent as a meal replacement. 40g of whey in water wouldn't do much.

ready to eat, fiber, tastes pretty good

Aside from fiber, beef jerky falls into the same category, but that's not cheap either. But I can afford the convenience and I understand not everyone can.

if I recall your max deadlift was 315 right? That row form must have been messy.



Joining a new gym today because LSE summer school has began so it's packed full of americans trying to do muscle ups and I need later opening hours.

I liked chocolate brownie for a long time, but then grew tired of it. Double chocolate chunk is now my favorite along with cookies and cream. Quest bars are more often than not my lunch and mid-day snack. Apple pie and the almond one are favorites, too.

You pay the premium for convenience with protein bars. I travel home frequently and it's a 7 hour drive each way. I certainly cannot bring a full meal with me while in the car and I sometimes forget to pack sandwiches for the long haul. I'd much rather drop $2/bar than stop for some junk food along the way.

I mentioned cutting to make weight a while ago. I ended up going from somewhere in the low 190's to 154.4 for my final weigh-in. Here are some before and after pics:
