i track everything but don't arrive with a plan really if that makes sense. today i was bored so i did chest only and 2 exercises: descending sets of incline dumbell presses: 160 x 6, 140 x 8, 120 x 10, 110 x 10, 100 x 12, 90 x 15
then i did flies, 10 sets of 10 with 50s
