Any advice on belts? Considering Inzer Forever, Best Belts Athlete, Titan Longhorn, & Titan Toro Bravo. Want to order one before I actually need it.

It seems like most people in the US recommend the Inzers. The others should be fine too.

 

Wearing a belt is fine. Some studies even show that the abdominal pressure and the muscle development of the abs is greater with a belt.

 

I personally train without one all the way up to the last weeks before the powerlifting meet, but I also pretty much never go above 85% in the training cycles.

 

Edit: Thinking about it, I actually do wear a belt on all my working sets now that I do high frequency and higher volume with squats and deadlifts 3x a week.

I've stopped using a belt on deadlifts. But when I do high rep squats anything 12-15 I have to use a belt, my lower back get a huge pump during these sets anways. I hear this is a common complaint on high rep squats, depending on leveradges.

I can recommend both the inzer forever belt, and my wife has a best belts 3" which is also a great belt.
