Yeah ok I'm not trying to argue it just seems like when somebody says "yay I can't wait to bulk and gain 20lbs" that it seems like they're about to get fat.
I understand what everybody is saying, it's all just different interpretations of the same word I was just trying to figure out what everybody's interpretation was. All clear now.

also played a great session with my friend's band yesterday. I'd almost forgot how cool playing with a group is as I mostly play alone.

You're thinking of people doing really fucking dirty bulks.

Also, when people are bulking (vs cutting) you have a little more leeway with eating. For someone that gave up dessert or beer or whatever, being able to indulge in that a little more often is a carrot when finishing a cut.

I know what you're saying, but it's like the steroid or natty debate from a few pages ago. No matter what you do, you still have to work hard and do well with your diet to make solid gains. Eating a pizza and a tub of ice cream isn't really the best for gains.

Just like everything else, diet has to be relatively on point to make the best possible gains. It's just easier to have a bit more leeway when you're okay with gaining a little weight. You're making a purely semantic argument. Teekay just bulked and gained about 20 lbs. I'm pretty sure he didn't get fat haha.

Didn't realise investment banks have "house styles", brb only using ariel size 6, 8, 11 or times new roman when its bold, but you have to reduce the font size down 1 size so its just darker not bigger and only specific pastel colours to high light. Have to use a specific order of colours on pie charts except when the pie chart involves the bank then you use its personal colours. Learning bluebook/powerpoint/author is going to be harder then excel, financial modeling is basic as fuck compared to formatting a load of slides. CapitalIQ is pretty sick too, I don't know why banks don't outsource this stuff, could get a bunch of graphic design students to do it for like $25k a year, but they'd probably try to change it.

My weird marfans hands stop me from opening bottles, I can grip 500lb, but I can't open a jar of pickles for shit

9 days until the end of my "cut". I'm 192 lbs right now. I will probably coast for the rest of the summer and try to bulk to 225-230 this fall to next spring.

Random thoughts...

... I need to get jacked before I go bald enough that I need to shave my head. Nothing sadder than a bald, scrawny, clean shaven white guy (and the wife will never go for facial hair). Need to at least get to Bruce Willis/Jason Statham muscularity for respectable baldness. Nothing insane.

... I need to seriously cut back beer consumption. My tolerance is so high that I need to drink 3-4 strong beers to get a decent buzz. Waste of money and not good for gainz.

... Tuesday was apparently round back deadlift day in my gym. Made me feel a little better squatting sub-2 plates on my 2nd workout back, yet still doing more than the guys next to me, who were very badly hunchbacking 145 with the bar in front of their toes the whole time. It looked like the guy on the left here, no exaggeration. One guy was coaching the other in this form. I feel like this is a ticket to pop city, but what do I know. Oh yeah, this was all done with mixed grip and with 2 25s on each side, so the bar was a few inches too low.
