This happens to me all of the time. The will waste a half and hour discussing how they can't squat or deadlift and they are afraid of protein because they don't want kidney stones.
On more that on occasion. I have had people tell me they were getting into boxing to get jacked. I've sparred with pros and I suck after years of it. High volume boxing made me 135 pounds with reoccurring injuries.
I can't stand it wham someone asks me training advice, i come up with a general plan and they ignore it. Just because I'm doing jm press doesn't mean it's a good exercise for you, especially without a trainer.
