They might just give you trigger point shots as well. Those are often helpful. I'm sure TK could speak better to that though.

Well I certainly don't want narcotics, that shit makes me so nauseous and I don't think I'm at the level I should be getting surgery. I do know my deadlift stalled when this started.

Oh, definitely. Trigger point injections can be extremely helpful and if you use a local anesthetic(like lidocaine) they can be of diagnostic utility as well. Usually the relief lasts a bit longer than physical methods like foam rolling or massage, too.

In outpatient clinic, residents will gain experience in injection techniques such as joint, soft-tissue, neuroma, fluoroscopic-guided, and ultrasound-guided. In addition, they will learn basic acupuncture techniques, intra-thecal baclofen programming, and EMG-guided botulinum toxin injection among others. Our clinic staff are also currently active in the regenerative medicine techniques such as platelet-rich-plasma and prolotherapy.

Compared to other PM&R residencies, our trainees receive 6 months of EMG training and many go on to gain ABEM certification in addition to their ABPMR certification. In addition, many of our residents go on to fellowships such as Pain management or Sports Medicine.

Super excited for this program. Also surprised to see I have the option of becoming dual-boarded in PM&R and Emergency Medicine.

First lifting casualty. I just threw down 60 bucks to have two jackets altered. My navy blazer and linen sc don't fit anymore since my lats grew a bunch. Luckily there's enough extra fabric in the seams to make something of it. I asked him to leave some room there for more growth lol.

Sweet, I think I'll do TRT when I'm around 30. Seems like the most safe and lowest side effects, just got a shot of test and vitb in my arse then off I go.
