using the deli slicer at the bar today, turned my head for literally a second to talk to my coworker, fucking SLIIIIICE. right hand, first knuckle to the bone, and a good chunk off the side of my pointer.

so weird. conciously i knew it was the worst pain ive ever felt in my life, but adrenaline just kept me going. wouldnt stop bleeding for an hour. finally stopped, wrapped it the fuck up in duct tape and worked the entire shift.

definitely going to put a damper on training, seeing as how i cant make a fucking fist. ugh.

i know the worst pain is yet to come though. still riding the adrenaline high a little bit, also pretty drunk from going out after work.

picture of it right now after i took the duct tape off as i got home. gonna wash it and let it breathe over night, wrap it and go work another shift tmrw. doesnt look nealy as bad in photo but wtvr

Fuck, thats nasty. You were pretty lucky though, if you try to see it from the positive side. Injuries in a bar/restaurants are pretty sketchy because often you can't leave the job or treat the wound properly.

When I worked as a dishwasher at this restaurant, some new guy threw (as in literally threw) me the trash bag. He forgot to tell me it was full of broken glass and porcelain. Caught it and felt a shard cut deep into my hand. Wasn't too bad but it was bleeding a lot and I had to continue dishing for the rest of the shift with the hands down in a sink full of dirty water and old food. Took like two weeks for it to heel and I was just lucky it never got infected. Still have a scar from it.

Anyway, if you can't lift, I would suggest you go back to maintenance calories. No muscle loss in that case and the healing will be faster with more calories.

fun. i chopped the edge of my finger off with a knife when i worked in the kitchen, not as bad as broken glass or a deli slicer though.

100x12, 140x1, 60x32 on front squats, dat pump mang. Hit 3 plates significantly faster then I thought I would. Will post a video of my front squat form some time soon, it looks kind of weird.

Net gains from this blast is 38lb, dropping down to about 1.5 times trt doses and will cut to 190ish and see if I can build more muscle whilst on a pretty big deficit before I next blast.

I hate the sight of needles, too. Can't stand getting shots or even giving them for that matter. I close my eyes every time.

RHET, I want new oly shoes. When I lift at the horrible gym my employer will be providing I don't want everyone thinking I'm poverty. Should I buy adipowers or romeleos? Will get the volt colourway if I get romeleos. Will I actually notice a difference going from do wins to either of these?

Probably won't notice a different Fuji. Few weeks ago I bought adipowers and romaleos, did a squat session in each and took video of form. Noticed very little difference.

The AdiPowers generally have better reviews. I can't think of a single fault with mine. Look at wlshoes.com for reviews on both.

Wait a month and get the white AdiPowers (coming out in June), much better looking than the reds.

And about Coldsnaps comment:

Heel height is the same for both so your technique should also be the same. I haven't tried the Romaleos but they are heavier than AdiPowers and the straps are very long, almost touching the ground. Thats the only negative things about the Romaleos I've read.

Yea those whites look good.. I'm only doing highbar for 16 weeks so I sort of want them. but at the same time the heel height difference was hardly different.
