Those are really nice, but that's what i'm saying, I dropped $45/pair on these adidas pants and bought three of 'em. While they don't look that good cause they're tight now, i'm still not going to drop another ~$150 on workout clothes.

meh

Damn that's pretty good. That's Jason Blaha level at 2/3rds his weight lol. Can we get Coldsnap banned for 2 months or sth for failing to reach 1k after I gave him over a year to do it, since he doesn't want to support disabled veterans?

These people gave their arms, legs, and emotional health for your freedom, Coldsnap. And you're going to squander the freedom without reaching 1k and giving a little something back? bored.gif

Any dog peeps here? My girlfriend's fucking dog keeps us up all night whenever she brings it over to my house. I think it's because she lives in quiet house and I love in an apartment building where you can hear the neighbors walking around upstairs and on a somewhat busy street. It constantly tries looking out the windows, and unfortunately I have one right by my bed which means she walks on me to get to it. I have blinds closed and blackout curtains drawn and nothing. The fucking thing walks around my apartment whining and trying to see outside.

What the fuck am I supposed to do. About to tell her it's not allowed over anymore.

edit again: which is fucking with my extensor digiti minimi. and extensor carpi ulnaris. and every other fucking thing in there. i'd love to open my arm up to see how messed up shit is in there.

serious question, maybe tk you can answer this because ***youre a doctor***. does it make any sense that the pain i feel when performing a zottman curl motion is vastly reduced if i'm moving at a much slower tempo? is that a thing?

don't read that much into what I poasted. I just think you don't really need weightlifting shoes if you're doing work on the machines and the like. Especially if you need some sort of custom orthotics a better move is footwear with a flat and a relatively firm sole without impact cushioning, i.e. not running shoes.

Thats very good progress.

I don't think people should get caught up in how long they've been lifting in regards to your total / aesthetics atm, etc. The long term perspective is more important. I mean, its not always best to progress as fast as you can. There's an injury-risk trade off that comes with it. Lifting is a marathon; the better lifter is in most cases the most consistent one that has managed to stay injury free and kept up with some form of progression the whole time. That said, most people can work out more than they think and there's time where you should push very hard. I just don't think its wise to go balls to the walls all the time, as some do.

I'm not saying this towards anyone in theis thread, but when people say "I have only been lifting for x years", you never know where they start counting. Is it when they picked up their first weight, is it when they got serious, or is it when they started to know what they were doing? I have been lifting in some form for prob 5 years, but didn't know anything about how to train smart until 1-2 years ago, and I've only been training for powerlifting specifically for 4 months.
