haha I wouldn't consider 2.5 years to be a while, but I suppose I learned how to eat enough to bulk, technique, how to push myself and what type of training I respond best to for my goals. I'm up like 35 or 40lb right now and my total is up well over 100. Obviously that's not exactly lean mass, but I suppose if you gave someone who hadn't really been training properly a bunch of white bread they wouldn't progress as well.
Mind you pasta may impact your ability to fight your demons in the gym because training is very fun, you progress really fast and DOMS are minimal.
