That's kind of my beef with natural bbing this days. It's less about muscle development and more about who can diet the most.
59 looks like the best to me, too. Is he natty though?

I lifted properly as in I trained legs and didn't just do every dumbbell press imaginable whilst not progressing for about 2.5 years before I ate some potatoes. Best lifts were like a 455 sumo, mid 300s squat and just shy of a 2 plate bench.

Potatoes are very fun.

haha I wouldn't consider 2.5 years to be a while, but I suppose I learned how to eat enough to bulk, technique, how to push myself and what type of training I respond best to for my goals. I'm up like 35 or 40lb right now and my total is up well over 100. Obviously that's not exactly lean mass, but I suppose if you gave someone who hadn't really been training properly a bunch of white bread they wouldn't progress as well.

Mind you pasta may impact your ability to fight your demons in the gym because training is very fun, you progress really fast and DOMS are minimal.

Yeah, makes sense.

I told myself that if I decide to do pasta it'll be quite awhile for now. Only been training seriously for about a year.

Because it helps you reach your goals significantly faster and more enjoyably.

I want some pasta. reach your goals significantly faster and more enjoyaby, is probably the most legit reason to. I guess if I wen ton anything it would just be test because I'm too much of a pussy for other stuff

From what I've read arnie and people from that generation didn't really use much test because they were all hung up on the androgenic:anabolic ratio. You see cycle recommendation from then and everyones on that dbol only, deca only, primo/deca time. I don't like the sound of wet compounds so I wouldn't touch dbol.

@MarkL I suggest you get a lot more (years more) natural training and proper diet under your belt before looking into that or even THINKING about it.

And for the record, I think @fuji started way too low of a training/dieting level to start on any kind of cycle. It's obviously his decision and doesn't involve me at all. He and anyone else can/should do whatever the fuck they want. But if someone his build/height were to ask my advice on the matter, I would've said give me a few years of training and get that bodyweight up to 220+ before considering.
