An equally stupid question; in bodybuilding do you get to pick the music you pose to? That would be awesome

Nah man, the other bodybuilders choose for each other. It's kind of like a secret Santa. Obviously it gets out who has whose name so there is some bribing in the upper echelons.

Pretty sure in bodybuilding the individual posedown you can choose the tune.

I am doing a meet, I believe i've said that after I finish my cut i'm hiring a coach and working on strictly becoming a stronger powerlifter

I did a poverty meet at my uni gym. Order was bench, squat, dead and I only did 1 attempt on each at about 85% so I don't know if it counts.

Might buy a brazzers T shirt. My mate told me about them today, think it'd be quite funny to wear.

if anyone else wants one.

Looks similar like this dudes, knees even come in. He does bury it though.

Look at your video at :05 and his video at 3:40. You almost turned it into a good morning.

It's not like stupid noob form, but your shoulders were stationary while your hips were going up. This becomes more and more important as the weight goes up. If you want to get injured, keep at it, or take this for what it is and realize that it could be a bit better.

Yeah, I was being hyperbolic, but I would never use your video as an example of a 'good' low bar form. More like a common mistake that needs one or two small fixes to really get awesome.

Yea, I hear ya. That's about as heavy as I'll go for reps until I start eating at maintenance. Don't want to get greedy and hurt myself during a cut.

Just went full RHET, ordered that inzer yesterday, ordered Rehbands knee sleeves today.

Also got some chalk, interestingly enough i've never used it before...

between all this i'm hoping i can tack on a decent amount of poundage to my 1RM squat and bench

So, I've been checking this thread every day and am really into it. You guys all seem way past me in terms of experience and performance. Needless to say, feeling inspired.

Rather than ask "what should my diet be?" I'd like to find out what you dudes eat on a day to day basis.

I currently go to college from (m-f) 9am-1:30pm and work from 2:30-10:30pm, so my food-prep time is a little limited, but I have the weekends and such. I also work for a hospital and the food is pretty inexpensive for employees and there are quite a few healthy options.

DANKA!

DANKA!

Pretty much what you would expect to be

Protein:
Lot's of lean meat, I like turkey burgers because the macros are fantastic and they are easy to prepare quickly.
Cottage cheese
Eggs
Beef jerky as fun, quick snack.
Powder is a convienent thing quickly and on the go, i like isopure unflavored. make a smoothie with almond milk and fruit. dope

Carbs:
Rice, sweet potatoes ezekiel bread, oats, fruit (i like pineapples)

Fats:
Eggs again, nuts, nut butters, avocadoes, olive and coconut oil, butter, cheese..

Dont forget greens, frozen shit is actually better for you than fresh apparently, and it's way easy to prepare out a serving. Brocolli, asparagus, spinach are my staples

Don't DYEL-looking phaggots feel embarrassed to wear a bunch of gym gear like inzer belts/chalk/knee wraps/legging when they're squatting only 2 plates?

It's like going to your first class at a Brazilian jiujitsu dojo with a gracie-barra gi and a bunch of patches sewn in. :/
