Random health and injury thoughts checking in. Been having a nagging pain in my hip/hip flexor area. Pretty much any time I bend over I get a pain in my left side right around the very top of my hip flexor. Pretty much unable to squat and can't even leg press without aggravating it further. About a week ago I tried leaving squats out on leg day and just doing some leg press and that left me in a ton of pain for the next 8 hours or so.

I never go to a muscular failure anymore. Failure for me right now is when form starts to break down. I might push it a bit more on smaller muscles like triceps, rear delt stuff an so on bit for the compounds I usually have 2 reps left in the tank, sometimes more.

I go to failure. Today I'll squat until I pop every blood vessel in my face, like last heavy squat day.

Totally didn't feel like going to the gym yesterday; went anyway and hit a 5 rep PR on squats.

Nice at what? My 5 rep squat PR is 295, going for 300 today.

Only 245 at this point but it felt comfortable.

I do need squat shoes though as I'm start to feel my shoes compress at that type of weight. Hitting up NYC next weekend so gonna try both the adipowers and romaleos.

Yup popped Dem blood vessels. Leverage at my weight sux. 300 x 3. Should of got the fourth but I rushed the last rep and lost it at lockout.

I already applied. I need to add my wife to my plan and (hopefully) switch my plan. Regardless, both my wife and I tried the online application multiple times. I'd get to the end of the application, submit, and I never got to the point where I could choose a plan. It would still say "in progress" and never get to "completed."
