Is it best to eat normally during a deload week or drop cals to compensate for the lighter workload?

I've been doing a recomp/slow bulk, so +500 on workout days -500 on rest days.

keep calories, or eat more. Recovery well and hit it hard again after deload

+1 on Coldsnas comment.

Keep a small or the same surplus on deload weeks as before. You def don't want to be in a deficit.

The purpose of a deload is to let the body catch up and recovery will always be better in a surplus.

Yep, I found the stitching to be pretty awful on my Eastbay shorts too. Hole in the crotch junction and inner thigh in two pair within a few weeks. I bought some tights and shorts from the CompressionZ brand on amazon (linky) and I have been pleased. I would recommend giving them a try. Was a bit wary given they're only sold on Amazon, and the name is rather daft, but the reviews were pretty positive. The seams are much stronger, material is thicker than most, and the cut is pretty good. They're not ideal but unless you're willing to drop $75+ on compression gear, I don't know if you'll find better.

Any of you brahs do smoothies

I hate vegetables but I just had an spinach/oat/blueberry/raspberry/yogurt/milk smoothie and it is pretty good. Way better than salad

Do them every day for work. Mixed berries, low fat milk, Greek yogurt, unflavored proton powder. Sometimes add PB or spinach or wtvr

Got to the gym to tonight to find some new guy doing curls in the squat rack. Warmed up in the shitty rack until he was done, then used that rage to set a new personal best 270x5 on low bar. Came up fairly easy too, should be able to get 275 this week.

13mm.... at least you went single prong.

Just remember to breath 360* against the belt, not just out of your gut.

By this you mean expand the entire ribcage right? Also belt should be tightened right under your ribs right?

For breathing you want to think of breathing out of your back against the belt too, this will keep your lumbar spine neutral.

for belt placement that's just personal. I actually just changed my dead lift belt placement after pulling a full year one way.

I'm having a hard time visualizing/imagining that. Do you know of any good articles or videos?

Jts strength has a 3 squat fixes video that addresses it

Fuark 13mm, not gonna get anything out of that for like a month. Will be so stiff you won't be able to get it tight and you'll just basically be wearing a decorative weight vest.

This dextreamphetamine (instant release vyvanse for americans) i've been prescribed is giving me ridiculously bad feels. Took 5mg was feeling a bit off, but didn't really help so I took another 5mg. Kind of helped with concentration, but not much. Took another 5 so I was at 15mg and it was very effective, but I was nearly in tears in the library. No reason for it, but it got me so down. After studying for about 8 hours I started reading the stranger, which amplified the fuck out of my feels so I went home listening to like fucking bon iver on my ipod being emotional as fuck and now I'm home and I'm fine. Cheeky drugs.
