Probably was able to contract harder against the belt. Dunno, just my guess.

I've had a bodybugg too during long shifts in the restaurant and mine certainly didn't show that much. They're known to not be accurate in all situations.

I'd say thats a good way to develop an obsessive food disorder and that sort of compensatory diet thinking where you have to go running every time you eat something "dirty".

Mark, don't stress it. Just track the alcohol like everything else and make sure you hit your daily macros. A beer is carbs too after all so drink one or two during your shifts if you're fine with trading some normal carbs for the beer. I went out every weekend and got drunk on my cut and my fat loss and strength wasn't negatively affected.

There's a in depth article on Leangains about alcohol if you really want to get into the smaller details and effects on body recomposition.

You think that's obsessive but counting calories and tracking macros isn't?

Yeah I think it was off but not sure by how much. It's a pretty tough job tho. Moving on your feet the whole time but you have to appear calm and collected and professional

Of course there's an obsessive element to that but there's no need to make it worse. Also, after tracking for some time you get a good idea of differen measures so you may not need to weigh everything else out anymore. Anyway, I think compensatory behavior in relation to dirty eating is worse than tracking food.

just add a couple hundred calories to your TDEE. If you feel like you're losing strength/hindering recovery eat a little more.

Track beers and such like it's normal macros.

Lots of Gatorade. Be prepared to take it easy for a few days to a week in the gym as well.

I had mono for a week and drank two gallon size gatorades every day. That was the fastest and only way to get over it on my opinion.

Sweet new training max on bench 195. Hope my Squat goes as good tomorrow.

Patagonia baggies 5" are pretty awesome, dunno if I should cut the bannana hammock out of them. I ripped those compression shorts from EastBay up pretty bad, only lasted a few months. Abductor blew through a side of them during deadlifts.

How much do you weigh?
175lbs, down from 197lbs in Jan. Bench isn't my strongest. But I'm so happy to see it going up and form improving.
