Already what I do, so fucking painful I actually yelp.
It doesn't help that I can't seem to break the habit of sleeping right on that side.
How do you manage it, does it ever get better, or always a nagging pain?
So Charly gonna be doing front squats as I introduce low bar wide stance powerlifting back squats into my routine. Is this real life? My goal being to strengthen the hips, hammies, and glutes to accomodate a wider landing stance during the snatch and clean. They're pretty awful (most likely because I still suck at them) but I'm already feeling more stable and confident in the receive positions.
Just goes to show anyone saying something is for powerlifting or for bodybuilding or for weight lifting.... that's bullshit, it's just an exercise. You'd be an idiot to ignore exercises that can help you achieve your goals simply because they have a stigma as belonging to PL, BB, or WL. "Bro-ing out" on some curls or rows isn't beneath me if I feel like they'll help me put some kilos on my snatch or clean.
Also, NYC RHET brahs, any recommendations on where I cop a top notch bagel w/ cream cheese and lox?
also widened my foot position for the classic lifts. helps me get my lower back locked in extension and keeping the chest up. Looking forward to the day I can finally snatch .

Its similar to stretching a cold or warm muscle. If you've ever done really intense stretching on a completely cold muscle you know it hurts a ton more (possibly = too much tension) in comparison to stretching after a light warm up.
