I've actually taken out GHRs now that I can do 25 in a row and do them thrusts with bands.

#bodyweightfitness

Did you take out squats when you could do 25 air squats too?

Haven't had time to read the responses yet but sounds like exactly what I had.  I saw a doctor, not a PT, who told me to work at 70% and avoid deadlifting and squatting for a couple months. He assigned me to a PT who told me my gluteus medius and abs were weaker than I should be (I have noticed a huge difference after I strengthened these).  I took a few weeks off then reset my squat by about 100 lbs and slowly worked back up.  At that time I hadn't been deadlifting since it induced pain, so after the PT cleared me I started at 135 and slowly worked up (I'm now at 275 for reps).

I would avoid squatting at any weight that induces even a small amount of pain.  He said I basically had a bulge (where you're at) and then popped it while squatting.

It's better now. I just had to stay more active. I tend to sit down a lot but I'm gonna change that now with a standing desk and more frequent walks instead of biking.

Lower back already feels better. Just gotta stay more active so it doesn't get stiff. Rigged a standing desk and walk everywhere instead of taking the bike. Was able to squat and deadlift without any major discomfort. Belt def helps stabalizing the core and trunk which has been my problem.

Yeah, my lower back (slightly off center) still hurts a lot if I sit for too long or sometimes after heavy DLs.  I think the reason I got injured was because my accessory muscles (abs, glutes, ab/adductors) weren't strong enough to protect my lower back, but I still haven't really fixed the root cause.  I may pay another visit to the doc, he was very good.  Sports medicine.

Manager of my gym is such a retard, bought another set of kettlebells. Now we have 4x as many kettlebells as we have dumbbells because apparently the athletes need them. No one uses fucking kettlebells and we have no athletes in our gym, just asian wannabe investment bankers. I'm allowed to continue competing in uni powerlifting competitions as long as I don't try to have the highest total, this some bull shit.

I'm on month three of my cut, I eat 2350 cals on rest days, and 2750 on lift, have lost 1.2lbs a week consistently

That's much higher than where I'm at. Although I think I'm farther in my cut? I think you bulked higher than me though? I'm at three-ish week of cutting, around 174-177 from 197. I've got abs now all day, feels good.

Wish I had started lifting way sooner than I did.
