Yes, of course you will feel your pecs on any press that involves the chest. Theres a degree on how much you will feel or activate your chest and in that regard, an incline or bigger ROM with DBs will help. A wider grip will put more strain on the pecs than a narrow grip. DB flyes are pretty much extremely wide DB bench presses. You can look at data from EMG studies if you want specifics of muscle activation in different lifts.

Does anyone actually use dumbbells to get a larger ROM? I think most people actually use a shorter ROM hence the occasional "why do i db bench more then I bb bench?". I just touch them to my chest.

I don't think many people use a bigger ROM with DBs than with a BB either, but they do go give you that opportunity. If you don't use a bigger ROM with DBs your not gonna activate pecs more than with a BB, and imo you would then lose the biggest benefit of using DBs.

Is it common that people are stronger with DBs? Never heard that before, and all the people I know are stronger with a BB. I think its easier with a BB since you don't need to stabilize as much.

What I'm saying is I personally feel my pecs activate with close grip more than wide grip.

Much stronger with bb, db i can rep 115s which is a like a warm up set for bb.

THEY SAID IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE, THEY SAID YOU'D NEVER MAKE IT, WHAT WILL YOU SACRIFICE TO WIN!

I don't get this "I don't feel bench press in my chest" thing. Like what are you using to push the weight up. Unless you can literally only bench press your overhead press then something is moving that shit and it's not actually your lats.

front delts, triceps and lats

I never even got 2048 before, then I got on a roll. Never playing the game again since I don't think I'll top it.

Unless your using some tiny dbs or pressing with a neutral grip I don't get how you can get them lower then with a bb.

When I first started lifting I could not feel bench in my chest, then I figured out proper form and I get properly sickening pump in my chest now, also became easier to put up heavier weight

Heavy BB bench is just a free for all for me, I just try and get through the reps

Light DB bench def hits my triceps

I think I have to start doing flys again
