But he only weighs like 170? You can look like that natty after 2 years of starting strength.

Sarcasm, CTK?

Btw Eason, you're making me look like such a nerdy gear whore with that outfit.

Shorts over compression shorts and tights, knee sleves, deadlift socks, lifting shoes, wrist wraps, belt, all color coordinated and stained with chalk. I think Fuji is the only one in this thread with more stuff in his gym bag than me.

No way I remember someone posting a pic of a bunch of SS success stories... they all looked like cyclists.

Moving homes is one of the top stressful events one can have in their life.

Also, I decondition some from weights beginning my second week off. Plenty of people apparently don't lose ability across a month of not lifting given how often it is posted, but I have never kept my strength well.

I meant that Fuji was sarcastic.

Everybody knows that you won't get a super aesthetic body by doing the standard Starting Strength program. At least I think thats very obvious. I mean just look at the program. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see understand that its not optimal for growing a nice set of arms or wide shoulders since it basically has nothing to directly target those muscle groups.

SS is the worst
SS is pretty awesome. I saw a few true beginners start SS, most of them quit but the ones who ran it for a year straight and now are onto something different and made some awesome progress. A lot better than the dudes that come in and do the same bench and dumbell shoulder press routine for months on end. SS is just an easy target because people are sissies and half ass programs all the time then go complain on the internet about it.

if you actually do SS right you will look like shit though.

No riptoe said all you need to grow big arms is squats and oats. If you do GOMAD with it'll you'll make really good gains. Who even cares about arms all girls care about is big glutes. They also hate pecs and prefer small man tits. Having abs makes you look like a pussy, all about dat power belly.

Conceptionist, I have 2 pairs of knee sleeves (one neoprene I never use one pair is triple ply, which are sick), 1 pair of double ply elbow sleeves, my inzer 13mm single prong, rogue dowins, straps, 20" titan THP wrist wraps for heavy sets, some shit short ones for when I want to feel my hands, chalk, caffeine pills and a light band for stretching. I don't have like gym shirts or shorts though, I just wear my normal clothes to the gym. I wear swimtrunks quite often.

I received some absolutely sickening advice from a trainer at the gym. I think he's really knowledgable because apparently he was in the olympics as a cox, which is a very athletic position. I was testing my max squat (Did 385lb #testingmylimits#Sacrificetowin). He told me that me using a belt for my squats takes my posterior chain out of the movement so since I did 385 with just my quads I reckon I could get 495 quite easy without a belt because then I'd be using my hams, glutes and lower back.

TK doing the bodybuilding bulk/cut stuff how long should a cut last at 1 lb a week? I guess you could potentially cut too long and accidentally loose gains.

RHET do I train legs yet? They're looking kind of fat.
