Still going 3xweek, but... meh. Every time I make progress on the elbow, I get excited, then next session it hurts some other way. havent made any meaningful progress otherwise, and its getting to a point where I'm starting to just not care about training anymore.

I might have to spend my time writing a guide to swimming or something

I'm more pumped about training now than ever, but I've been pretty tired of it on some occasions.

It has always been during periods when I've tried to go to the gym more often or add extra cardio sessions on top of my lifting routine, which would have me working out 5-6 times a week. That's just to often for me and makes it feel like my whole life centers around it and my motivation goes downhill.

3-4x a week is more appropriate for me right now with minimally planned cardio sessions.

On another note, tweaked something in my back today warming up on deadlifts.

I only had 200 pounds on the bar, but got careless and did three fast reps in a row without taking a new breath and stabilizing my core in between the reps. Just shows how easy it can happen if you're not 100% focused and do something stupid, and that you can get hurt with light weights.

Hope is goes away fast so I can continue training with the new program. Gonna rest for 2-3 days.

I'm in this boat.  I've been cutting since Feb so all my lifts are just stalled out and it kinda sucks to go to the gym 3x a week when you know you won't make any progress, just maintain if that.

Luckily I have been able to make progress w/ yoga so that has been keeping me going.

TK doesn't even lift. He came to train with me one time and all he did was flex in the mirror the whole time and asked me to squeeze his glootzzz.

Ugh, the worst fuckin DOMS after squatting still. Been like this since I took on Greg. I can hardly get out of my car, week after week.

Was out sick for a week w/ flu, and then had a week of spring break in which I didn't venture to the gym. First sesh in two weeks was Monday, feelin DOMS today like mad.

Warming up for DL felt something go BANG up my left hamstring, and couldn't squat down or extend my glutes without severe pain. Only managed 5x3x315 DL instead of shooting for some stars. So, as per RHET advice, dropped the workout's volume and kept weights up. Now feel dead.

Can't believe how wasted I feel from these workouts w/ only 2 weeks off. Monday's workout was decent, but missed reps on all lifts, while maintaining weight. Usually hit 4/5 or 7/8 depending on exercise. That normal for just two weeks?

Yeah it's normal to lose strength over two weeks, you'll also regain it right quick so it's no big to do. Muscle memory is serious shit.

a lot of injuries happen when you do stupid stuff with silly weight, i.e. not paying attention.
