And yes, it's a hook grip like fuji says. Much stronger than a double over and stronger than a mixed.

Ah ok, guess I was mistaken.

When people say that they begin to see uneven growth on their lats/in general due to mixed grip, is that bullshit or true?

BULLSHIT imo. If you have uneven lats it isn't because of your deadlifts, it's because you must do fuck-all for them.

I tried hook grip for about a month with my deads. Hated it and feel much weaker than mixed even after 4 weeks.

Haha, thanks brah. I put gel in and then comb it back, then add hairspray on top otherwise it won't stay.

Well of course. satisfied.gif

If you are unhappy with your situation and you can get a script for it, I don't see why not. You're a man.. test is a good thing.

Yea, I can, doc said so but that he wouldn't recommend it. Going to talk to him. I assume his issue is mostly my age... but I struggle to see what putting it off for 5 or whatever years would do. Levels were at low 500s when prolactin first came down, more recently back in high 300s, which is garbage. And once you're already not natty... the possibilities lookaround.gif

He probably doesn't want to give you a stroke.

High 300s is pretty low, did you discuss what kinds of dosages you'd run?

Is this serious?

Not yet fuji, he emailed me after lab results following my last appt, meeting Monday. Experience tells me he would do the lowest dose possible and adjust from there... seems to be reluctant to give it, which is not a bad thing. Would really rather just have normal levels naturally and move on...

Read up on it a bit if you can. It's not the safest thing to put in your body and it's heavily over-prescribed.  What is your reason for wanting it?

It's good that he is even open to it. Most doc's are dicks and won't give out test scripts even if you're low 300's. I'd say, just take it slow. Run a few more blood tests in the coming months and then make a decision with your doctor later on. You're not competing or anything so there's not rush.

I'd argue that low test for a man is much more dangerous than slightly high test levels.

Heavily over-prescribed? Are we talking about anti-depressants here? lol

Btw, we're just talking about test cyp (enth and ace) here.. not tren/dbol/halo or anything like that.

I don't see anything unsafe about bringing low test levels up to mid-high range with a bit of test if you are not happy with your current levels. Low levels, for some, bring on low confidence issues, depression, and other health issues.

Going from 3000+ to 2300 cals suckssss.

Why doesn't someone make a creatine powder that actually fully dissolves? It can't be impossible. This gritty shit makes me wanna barf
