I've had a cold so I haven't worked out since Sunday and haven't lifted since last Friday :(.  Gonna be rough going tonight I think.

Up to 186lb, hoping to hit 190 in the next 2 weeks or so. I Can still see my serratus, abs are looking blocky, but I'm still decently vascular. Most of the weight gain is on my delts, upper back and arms. Still fitting into 30" uniqlos.



Plan is to go up to 205-210ish then back down to 185-190ish for the summer.

Am I weird or does anyone else have the same train of thought? I detest cardio because it's boring as fuck... but I enjoy cardio in the rain and ultra hot heat. I guess I like the uncomfortable/harder conditions so it's less boring. Does that make any sense at all lol?

I've been swimming twice a week and I love it. Only form of cardio that i've actually enjoyed, past actually playing a sport or riding a real bike.

Solid info:

 

 

 

- Training fasted not optimal for muscle hypertrophy

- Protein synthesis tops at 40g post workout. Less protein than this in the post workout meal can lead to less protein synthesis, but any amount of protein over that amount will have negligible effect

- Guidelines for protein intake pre- & post workout is LBM x 0.25 each, taken within 2 hours before / after the workout starts / ends

Yea, I'm admire Charly silent rage. I'm such an emotional baby when it's time to do a PR, I need to huff and puff and have someone telling me YOU GOT THIS BRO. I do need to find someone to lift with though, lifting in the morning with 50 year old ladies listening to Jazz is just not getting me amped enough frown.gif
