I respect that you're a nice guy and you've made excellent gains but that is not a good look by any stretch.

Half zips and bootcut jeans are not what are currently regarded as "in style" which, while an arbitrary distinction created by our consumerist economy, still communicates a general sense of out-of-touchness.

You'd be better off getting something that's slighty tapered below the knee (and in a dark, undistressed wash) and a different type of sweater (v-neck or crew-neck, depending on your personal preference).

This is my day to dress down, please don't kill it for me. I have no meetings today, chukka boots are comfortable, these jeans fit my quads. I may even kick off the boots under the desk

Half zips aren't in style? Mr. Centeno would disagree.

And I rarely wear crew necks, most dont fit around my neck.

Mr. Who?

Also, it's not about dressing down, it's about the items you have chosen to dress down in. Distressed/bootcut jeans and half zip sweaters are not in style, full stop. Chukkas, actually, are in style and have been for the past few years. You can find stuff that fits your quads and your body and is still more contemporary.

I bet you TeeKay still looks good even though he's dressed in chucks and some levi's and a hoodie.

Mr. Centeno, the owner of A Tailored Suit, he is also a a renowned style adviser, no dice? Great guy, very knowledgeable and personable.

As far as style, I don't follow the trends. Though, I do enjoy finding clothing that suits me well. Some people can pull off a v neck well, others a half zip, crew neck and so on. I personally love this half zip, Ive gotten compliments on it from men and women alike. Half zips are a great layering piece.

If I recall this is actually from the trunk club, well, the half zip/chukkas and oxford.

The jeans are a dark denim, almost no artificial fade. But I'm wearing them mainly due to comfort, aside from the fact that they fit my body type very well.

I actually like how half zips look on built guys so I can't fight you too much on that. Then again, something like a shawl collar achieves a similar effect and isn't as dorky.

However, please please please taper those jeans. Bootcut jeans are not flattering on anybody.

I love the look of a shawl collar, but my traps tend to push it too high around my neck. It makes it look quite odd

I'm thinking of switching up my look to swole geek chic by loading up on baggy cargo shorts and LL Bean fleece vests with polo shirts underneath.

Daily outfit is levis, some phaggy bro-tee, hoodie from target, and converses.

514s, plain black t-shirt, adidas crew. Not big enough for phaggy bro-tees crew.

My wardrobe is basically tailored clothing and jeans/t-shirts with almost nothing in between.
