Found out I've gained 12lbs since last summer, but dropped an inch in my waist. Now over 200lbs for the first time since I was an obese 15-year-old.

Also pulled 385lb DL today. 400 is so close, but my last attempt walloped me.

@mrchariybrown

Is there a specific reason for your very wide stance on squats?

Obviously there is some thought behind it since you used to go narrower, but I very rarely see that wide of a stance for raw lifters whereas its common for equipped lifting.

Edit: still can't see to get that "mentioning user" right. whatever.

@conceptionist
As long as your knees don't buckle in, a wide stance squat makes the squat hip dominant, whereas narrow is quad dominant. I always suggest that people go with what's comfortable since everyone's anthropomorphy is different. Imho

What's the easiest way to transition into fasted training without copious caffeine usage....

I have been taking 200mg of caffeine before each workout along with a huge breakfast but lately I just haven't had much of a morning appetite. Plus I want to do fasted training when I cut and def don't want to try to transition in a deficit. Any ideas

Just do it, you'll adjust quickly. I actually prefer training fasted, but my schedule does not allow it.

200mg caffeine pill and some BCAA's and you should be straight.

Rice pudding is the bomb.

Eat it after pretty much every training session.

You should try it with coconut milk. Higher fat obv taste better but a low fat version is really good too if you gotta keep em calories in check.

Jasmin rice, vanilla casein, coconut milk, some cinnamon and then hot raspberries on top :slayer:

Eating a baked potato with cottage cheese, honey and cinnamon right now. Pretty damn good too.
