Found out I'll have a small local show available the weekend before my big one in Richmond. Will be a perfect tune-up show. It's April 26th in Roanoke, 11 weeks away. smile.gif

New to the thread... but just got a Vitamix, and WOW.  I have been drinking kale shakes daily for about a year now, and this thing would have saved me so much time.  My old blender would take a series of 4 or 5 60-second blends, and this baby literally takes like 5 seconds on full power to blend everything.

Are you trying to say bulk was unsuccessful or that you think you've reached genetic potential?

Hmmm.... looks like you're holding more fat in the lower pic but that is prob just lightning.

Are you doing a split now for hitting each muscle group on separate days? I'm assuming you do.

I'm hesistant to give you advice since you're way more experienced than me (esp for bodybuilding) but increased frequency seems to be key for naturals when their growth slow down or when they need to bring a bodypart up.

I only follow one bodybuilder on youtube and thats Alberto Nunez.

Shredded Nunez (Click to show)

His back and arms were lagging after his cut last year so what he did you bring them up was to increase the frequency for them, going from training back and arms twice to to three times a week, IIRC. Dan Green has said he trained his lats 4-5 times a week when they were lagging and they caught up pretty quickly after that. I've also read that some other BB coaches have their clients do one set to failure for their lagging bodypart every time they train.

Just somehting you might want to think about if you're doing a muscle group slit now. Going to something like upper/lower training 4 times a week could be beneficial.

Eh top pic was a morning pic and that one was an evening. The "extra fat" is likely water weight.

I do PPL.

Well my back did get slightly wider but I just didn't get that much larger. My arms didn't really get any larger, either.

On the other hand, my hamstrings, calves, delts, and chest did come up. So I didn't make huge gains like I did last year, but I did sort out some imbalances and brought up some weak points. I also made some nice strength gains.

As far as genetic potential, I'll have to see what I look like on stage. It's still way too early to tell. My goal for this bulk was to put on 5lbs on muscle...and I think I'm still very much in reach for that.

vitamix are pretty sweet. i accidentally dropped some silverware in ours and while it demolished the spoon, the blades are barely nicked up.

You just need to focus on lat width. This might be bro science bullshit but I personally started seeing wider lats after seriously contracting my lats hard in the back double bicep pose for a few minutes then went on to do pull ups lat pulldowns etc. I don't have amazing lats but it has seemed to help so far.
