You just have a crappy time replicating your technique each time.

Guys pulls 700+ pounds don't get anywhere near that much more out of a deadlift bar vs a stiff bar. Like 10 pounds for most guys.

No, what I'm saying is I can deadlift more on a cheap bar. I was at the YMCA with my friend, they have bars that were sightly thicker than woman bars and I could bend them to my shin shin before getting off the ground. My friend pulled 650 at 180lbs and we laughed.

Just put a lacross ball in a dress sock. Sling it over your shoulder to where it's sitting on the knot and back up against a wall and do pressure waves back and forth. That area gets really knotted up for me too if I'm at the computer all day.

Do I reset as normal on a cut? Lifts all stalled as expected.

Thanks!

And I really do suggest you try a wider stance out but be mindful to stretch on off days and do some mobility stuff so you can get there without hurting yourself smile.gif

Also, moving it out about an inch per week is smart. Don't want to do it all at once and injury that groin.

What do you recommend? Groin pains took me out of the loop on lower body stuff not long after I started doing sumos. I know earlier you said I should keep my hips high but I think they may be too high. I'll get a vid next week.

Yea, get me a video and I'll give you a few pointers.

I really like frog squats. Make sure to take a wide stance, put your elbows between your knees and press them outwards towards the bottom. Also, make sure you keep your back flat or else it puts you in a different, unfavorable, position.
