Not that h&m quality was ever great, but the tanks they used to have were great. i have a couple for 2-3 years ago that i still wear all the time.

went in a couple weeks ago and bought 4 XL sized ones without trying on. came hame, out of the 4, 2 were sized like mediums, one a smedium and only one was ok.

the one that was ok ended up needing to be thrown out after a wash cause it shrunk so much. the others i returned.

tl;dr: hard to find good inexpensive slutty tanks

BDG for that slutty tank game.

On the IIFYM calc, how do you calculate activity? I lift for 45 min 3X a week, do a fast 30-45 walk on two other days and hike for an hour the other days. Can't imagine the walking and hiking really counts as much exercise so would that be exercise 3X a week, 5 X or 7 ?

Thanks !

I am not even sure I would count lifting for calories. It's pretty much a rounding error.

just toked up and ran my first real 5k in like, 4 years. 33:30 so not the best time, but not terrible either.

Thanks CTK, I'll use the 3X a week number.

Has anyone tried cutting by doing an aggressive deficit on rest days (like -800 cal) and then maintenance on workout days 3X a week ? I figure almost a pound of fat loss a week while only having to eat low 4 days a week.

Quite often I'm 200-300 calories short on my -500 daily calories after dinner. Rather than eating something else that won't really effect satiety (yogurt, a bit of fat, peanut butter etc) would it make sense to just pass on the yogurt? I do IF and eat from 2-10PM so I'm going to be kind of hungry in the late morning anyway.

Ummm... Did you read my post above or any of my previous cutting posts?

Not trying to offend you but I've written a lot about this.

Yeah, you're right. I read your recent posts yesterday but I've been reading so much on cutting across different forums that I get mixed up which are reputable and which aren't. I'll stick with the -500 since, as you say, you need somewhere to go down to when you stall.

Going to put an end to my bulk. Got up to 200 - 205lbs. Original goal was 200 but wanted to push it a bit farther to build a nice base to cut down from. Would have liked to add 5-10 more lbs but have started feeling nauseous after eating and the facial aesthetics are terrible. Here are the latest pics. Going to cut down to 185lbs over the next few months.

I am 6'0" so I think I have an inch on you. From the pics I saw, it looked like you were starting from a slightly thicker base than me. I started reading this board, lifting and really eating back in August 2011. Was 135lbs at the time.

Yea some days I have to just take a break from eating. I'm up to ~3500 cals on some days now, but like today I'm hungover and prob wont do much but kill some wings for the game and maybe make some granola. I have zero fears about cutting because it's a struggle to add weight

Nice to see some body recomp progress.

I will upload some pics when I've hit my weight goal. Have another 12 pounds to gain which I'm aiming to hit it around summer.

Went to the meet yesterday. Didn't get any good video and I only stayed for bench anyway, so not much to show. Squats and deadlifts are much more fun to watch imo.

What really surprised me was how many people was there, both in terms of lifters and spectators, esp for a club in smaller city.

When you only lift at a regular "fitness gym" you forget that there actually is people out there who trains seriously for strength, or at least I missed it.

Maybe the situation is different in the states, but in Sweden you pretty much never meet anyone who competes in strength sports in their free time. I think we have the highest rates of people caring about their health and fitness in the world, but thats not the same thing. Still, we have a lot of good lifters in the country when you look into it.

Just at this small local meet, there were 10+ guys who benched over three plates and deadlifted in the 600s. One girl got 250 on the bench, equipped though, but still very impressive.

I understand its a very niche interest but its cool to me that some old guy is handling the speaker thing and another dude is giving the signals for each lift, probably with no compensation and on their free time.
