Random health and exercise thoughts - Page 2584

I missed my last reps on squat and OHP on week 3 of 5/3/1. Eating a little under maintinence since November and numbers have been going up but schedule/bad eating/sleep have caught up with me. Thought about starting a cut when the season ends in another month but now may bulk to 200 first.

I like training in the morning on an empty stomach if I have some BCAAs beforehand. They help tremendously.

Really should not have drank last night.

I've been getting more and more disillusioned with drinking and going out, GN and CTK and Lag said. In the back of my mind I still kind of hold onto the idea that it will be fun, and it'll be like old times.

I think i'm just getting old... or older. I like waking up, going to work, going to the gym, coming home to eat and pass out. Weekends are ideal if they're quiet, and I can see my friends in an intimate setting. Bars, clubs, concerts....blah. If I had a home gym I think the only reason i'd leave the house is for groceries and work. Maybe it's just a passing phase but does anyone else feel that way sometimes? I'm probably the happiest and most content i've ever been, but I don't care for doing anything "extra" so to speak.

Only problem is I still want to get laid on the regular haha, probably turn to Okcupid for that, cut and post some shirtless pics GN style shog[1].gif

Anyway, drank a bottle of Whisky, had an ok time, but I don't know if it's because I don't drink like I used to, but i'm still hungover with a pounding headache. I used to put away a liter of vodka a day and function normally... I drink heavy once in a blue moon and i'm dead.

Still tried going to the gym to do shoulders since it's my favorite day of my split, did 3 sets of OHP, puked, and then left.

To add insult to injury, strained something awful in my upper back/neck while puking

I'm an old man at heart. After a wild high school/uni experience, my idea of a good night is watching the game and going to bed by 10. GF hates it. My god am I ever going to be a grumpy old bastard one day.

Same here, I think it's cause I got it all out of my system between the ages of 16-21. Gonna be 23 this year and would rather leave that shit behind.

I only go out a bunch if I'm single. Although my girlfriend plays in bands so I gotta go out and show some support. I'm usually posted up at the bar drinking and thinking to myself though.

Once I got to my 30s, alcohol tolerance wasn't really affected but it takes quite a bit less to get me hungover the next day. So naturally it happens a lot more than it did in my 20s, but instead of brief and severe, they are mild and enduring. Hate it so naturally had to dial the drinking back a bit.

You should. You should link with people with common interests. Get some lifting and riding bros. Acquire some Heights slootz with GN. Problem solved lol.

I kind of want to do what you did, and get out of NY for a little while...

Has only been a fleeting thought, but i'd like to give it more consideration and figure out where to go.

Concept- A youtuber I followed liked his vids, saw his bench, seeing as I'm a shit presser followed him :P

When I used to be fat I could drink whatever I wanted and never get drunk.....now a days some at home with my wife or with some friends is all I ever have.

You should move to South-East Asia, brah. Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam or sth.

Having a girlfriend has made not going out and binge drinking seem uninteresting. Most girls, IME tend to like to hang out in bed and watch movies and shit. The only girls i know who are still partying all of the time are perpetually single former sorority girls.

Man, I'm exacty the same. I pretty much stopped liking going out every weekend and getting shit faced when I was 20 already. Don't know when people start drinking in the US but we start pretty early in Europe. I also get tired of things very easily if it doesn't change or progress in some way. So going to the same club for the 20th time wasn't doing it for me.

Nowadays, I just go out to see some DJ or maybe chat over a beer at some bar, but I usually leave early. I just like a very low stress lifestyle. Last two weeks have been work, gym, food, some films and my new 3DS, lol. Going to an art show now with my sis but thats pretty much it. Def feel old at times and I've noticed I tend to get along better with people thare a couple years older than me.
