I definitely think there is some carryover strength from the push press to the strict press; pp it up and let it down slowly almost like a negative. You're bound to gain some strength/hypertrophy due to the time under tension.

Try soaking them in a vinegar/water solution. VFF users have used it before and it's worked wonders.

Hello all member's there on the forum, In this age every one has a fobia to look smart and slim. And in this course of losing weight no one can worried about the toughness and the after effect's of the hard exercises and paying a lot of bills of the diet pills and surgery and medication. Just to make his/herself perfect looking......... Thought are much changed.........

But try this: work up to a 1RM push press, then go back to your 5rm strict press. It will be the easiest damn set of strict presses you've ever done.

Something psychological about handling the bigger weight, I think.

This also works some magic in the form of squat 'walk-outs.'

Duly noted, thanks for the info. Haven't done any squat walk-outs (or dl carries) as I think there's still ways to go before I stall on those lifts. I'm trying to get my press moving up again, b/c as far as lifts go, it's totally boss .

Agreed. We were talking partials earlier and that's an example of how that can work.
Working 1RM push-presses with SLOW negatives will make a diference in your strict press...

Delts tonight at the gym now that it comes to that...
