Yeah, my squat is feeling way better now that I do it 3x rather than once a week.
You can most likely make equal progress just doing it once but for me the biggest gains were in confidence since I practicing the movement much more often.
Also, I am enjoying full body with basic barbell movements much more than a spilt with more bodybuilding lifts, isolation and accessory.
Feels like everything I do now actually serves a purpose and is worth putting effort in.
Nice attempt. No glaring form issues really, you could take your time more during the setup and get some more air in your stomach. The way your form is right now that's always going to be your sticking point, bringing the hips through. Essentially you are making off the floor easier but lockout harder, which is fine but you're going to need really strong hips and lower back to stay uninjured or make it work. I sort of deadlift like this but have my hips lower and chest more up, Greg is trying to get me more quad into it like the people here are suggesting.
Yes, really bad at first. People use to say that they never seen anyone hit tripple extension during a deadlift, I would almost want to clean my deadlifts. But then I took nearly 3 years off and that erased most of those tendencies.
I have tried occlusion training but used knee wraps because using tourniquets will make you look like a heroin addict. It pumped my calves up a ton but I can't say whether or not it actually worked.
