So apparently Eric Lilliebridge switched from high bar to low bar a couple months back, only took a couple weeks to dial in his technique, and added nearly 100lbs to his back squat.

Current lower body day (2 days per week):

First day
Squat Heavy
Deadlift Light
Some sort of leg press/quad exercise
Throw in some sets of low back work
Throw in some sets of abs
Curls

Second day
Squat Light
Deadlift Heavy
Same
Same
Same
Same

I like it.

About 300 reps between all those movements... not counting warm ups.

I find this to be a complete and solid Leg Routine. I'm assuming you are in the gym about 4 or 5 days a week? Or doing a 3 day split?

Edit: Did anyone here go to the Dan Green Seminar at Boss Barbell Club? Curious as to feedback and some general tips if anyone would care to share them.

My new gym has a reverse hyper. I've been doing a few sets every workout. Don't want to have a fucked up back.

6 days a week at the moment because I'm using lighter weights and focusing on volume.

Switching back to my standard 4 days a week in 2 weeks.

200lb bench is about to fall soon. I knew once I was content with my squat/dead and started to focus on my upper body it would shoot up.

Just checked out my girlfriends gym that I stayed away from because it was big on classes and not much else. Checked out the back room and it was full of half racks, a ghr, a few sleds + prowlers and a bunch of lifting platforms. 60/month though. frown.gif

First day without bad pain when working my elbow though full ROM without nsaids or rub. Hoping the tendon issues have buggered off and its just a trigger point issue now.

Missed bits and pieces of it since the members who volunteered that day were busy moving around making sure things were moving along smoothly. But in general, Dan covered the framework for his strength program, the hows and whys, and then squatting, benching, and deadlifting... and a bunch of Q&A. People in the crowd had the opportunity to have their technique critiqued in front of everyone (and corrected). Dan's too nice to turn anyone down so everyone had their chance and things ran late/prob got cut short. Animal didn't want anyone taking pics or videos so there prob isn't much floating around the net, but I suspect the footage the "official" camera grabbed will wind up on their yt channel at some point. The whole knees out vs. knees in (actually just "knees inline") thing got covered and I could see the handful of crossfit guys in the room having a seizure.

I feel like shit. Been sick with the flu this past week and limited gym time due to the holidays. I've gone from a healthy 256lbs. to a coughing/hacking/poor excuse for a human being 235 in a few short weeks.

Pray for me bros.

Walked to the gym today in -35 degree weather. To my surprise there weren't any less people than usual working out.

Got tattled on by some bimbo for doing squats in only socks. Then reprimanded by the gym-bimbo and told to put my FK's back on. If I want to lift, away from everyone, in the power rack, without running shoes on, it is no concern of yours, gym-bimbo.

In other news, first time in in 3 weeks b/c of school holidays. Wasn't mentally prepared for how heavy things felt again. Could only manage 4-rep sets of 295.

You mean your "ultra minimal running shoes"

I don't know why the cold turns so many people off. Put on a parka and dont drive like a dummy... Just because its -30 and there's a few inches of snow on the road doesn't mean everything needs to shut down
