Yeah, i'm kind of overdue for a cut haha. It looks fine when I take the time to comb and pomade it and shit, but I can't be fucked to do that for a lifting sesh.

I go with 0 --> 6 fade master race. Approaching 1.5 inches on top so probs overdue for a haircut as well. Starting to look like a war protester!

No way, masterrace is long hair in top knot. Still kind of pissed at myself for chopping all my hair off two years ago.

running is the fucking worst holy shit

Nice work mark. Def an inspiration for me.

jarude bro. Taking off more time thn 2-3 weeks wont do anything. It might feel better but 8 months down the road its going to pop up again or something similar. Injuries are rarely freak things and they happen for a reason. Gotta locate what's wrong and correct it. Wish I was near ya to assess it
post #37928 of 57266
yeah, i know i have to correct it. im poking around with the knobbler and im still flossing, just no steady progress as of yet. i think i'll pony up the cash to get back to my old rmt cuz that guy worked wonders.

i was more curious about the immediate term - how to diet, what to do, etc.

compounding things is that im 90% sure it gets worse/doesnt progress if my arm isn't in full extension. given that i work in an office and am on a computer all day, that sucks balls. i can hardly read my monitor if my arms are fully extended lol.

its not nerve entrapment either, flossing did nothing for it. a massage kind of helped, same with static stretching
good to know, im getting depressed lol.
doesn't matter if its freeweight movements or calisthenics. i've found out that just using it for literally just about anything makes it suck in some way; pullups, chins, and dips are out. dont know what's left

I know these feels very well.

Remember a couple of months back when I posted I was going to stop lifting for the rest of the year due to my elbow injury (and had a spat with CS about it)? That was seriously the low point for me, I was thinking I'm going to be that guy who almost was a decent weightlifter but measured up to nothing. Depressing as all fuck especially if one's in a sport they like a lot. Was pretty close to calling it quits for real.

Well I didn't quit. And my elbow eventually got better (fun fact, it started to get better real quick when I quit all the rehab shit I was told to do). In fact, it's almost 100% right now, I can do most the stuff I want and have zero pain. Sure, I lost a lot of strength in the process and my technique is pretty terrible atm, but both are getting better much faster than I thought.

Maybe you're at your low point now, but try to remember that if what you have is some sort of stress injury, most of those eventually get better, even though it's almost impossible to believe it especially when you're in the shit yourself. So my advice, if you're willing to consider it, is:

-try not to worry about lost gains, when you're back 100% your strength levels and technique will come back surprisingly quick
-do some exercise you like that doesn't hurt, doesn't matter what
-and last but not least, do what you've been advised by people far more knowledgeable than me.

For committed guys, getting injured is fucking awful - especially if it's something that takes time to heal.

Yup muscle memory is a real thing. Even if you took a whole year off you will get back to where you are surprisingly fast.

I'd take off 2 weeks and eat nsaids like candy
post #37932 of 57266
You'll still probably squat 400 before me ;P

I'm giving up Chipotle. Trying to lean out even more now while staying 195lbs. Guess it's pasta for me for awhile.
