I looked up Kovacs when I heard he had died.

Apparently, his insane steroid use pretty much made him incapably of functioning and performing very simple and necessary everyday tasks. Not gonna go into more detail, but there's quite a few stories about it online if you're interested.

Btw, I've already hit some of my lifting goals for the year. Got bench yesterday and the 3 plate deadlift today. Not impressive for someone who's been lifting as long as me, but I still think of three plate DL as a milestone. Feels good anyway. Gonna try to get my squat goal next week and then set up some new goals for the next year.

Acheived that super elusive lat pump today after taking the advice that TK and Jar posted, super sick.

had my first car accident today. was driving a truck for a friend who's moving upcountry because I'm the only one of us dudes with a commercial license. ended up going over the bank driving over a nice totally frozen medium hill. otherwise all good but a tree branch the size of my forearm penetrated into the cockpit just grazing the passenger seat.

2-3 feet to the left = my eye level

Damn glad you ok. Car accidents scary

So as I continue to lean out, I've resigned myself to the fact that I just have a wide pelvis... which is probably why I feel that my love handles are so disproportionately pronounced. Any real v-taper appears to be unobtanium. Time to join never be aesthetic crew frown.gif

Unobtainable? Assuming you got autocorrected.

Work the shit out of your shoulders and back to create the illusion of a V and offset the wide pelvis.

Well apparently I just spelled it wrong, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unobtainium

That is the only solution. Just takes longer and still won't provide the same drop of thin-waisted individuals.

You need to build your lats.
