I like the Rogues. They're good but not amazingly constructed. I only wear them in the gym and change out of them to do anything but lift.

Excuse me, phaggot? You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker.

That's kind of the idea behind lifting shoes, yea?

They were getting blown out for like $50 a few months ago but every wearable size is long gone.

pendlay rows 3x5 @ 210 yesterday felt EZ, can't wait to do 225 and look like a bawse
post #37013 of 57260
Nice rows. Serious question, do you squat anymore? Or did that quad injury and stuff take you outta it?
Strong rows Eason. You mix bent over rows in also, or exclusively pendlay?

Match bench PR of 245 today. Felt solid hitting a paused 225 after 6-7 sets of bench. Seems strange but I feel stronger with pause than straight bench.

There can be if your goal is to lift max weight without wraps. to be honest, for the sake of your joints and etc I think the benefits outweigh the cons, as long as you're not wrapping as a crutch.

Just got hip surgery to repair my torn labrum, looking forward to the 5 month mark when squatting returns to my life.

also pretty fucking sure you never even saw dimas warmup so there's that too.

I've seen it used to train the jump for athletic purposes. Throwers, football players, and athletes of that sort. Never seen any real Olympic guys do it though.

I'll be perfectly honest and say that I never was a big fan of squats, did not like the circle jerk surrounding them, etc, etc, but after tonights squat session something just clicked, and now I understand. Got my form down perfect, everything just worked, got a PR and it felt light as hell.

I see the light brahs. Even more encouraged to get some proper shoes now.

How much do you weigh when you're 8-10% BF. I'm assuming 185-190?

Right now weigh 208...gonna be super conservative and guess 18% BF...which would put me at 190lbs at 8%. Subtract a few pounds for muscle loss and, yeah, 185 at 8% sounds about right.

How the fuck do you not tear a labrum in your hip and shoulder? Seems like everyone is popping those fuckers right off. I keep a healthy psoas, piriformis, and all the back and shoulder shit..they say that's enough but I'll be damned if i have to go under the scalpel.

Suffered from a SLAP tear in my right shoulder for past seven years, due to my 10+ years of baseball pitcher/catcher. I can lightly toss baseball on occasion but the thought of throwing a football makes me cringe.

After years of strengthening the shoulder ligaments, I've grown comfortable with the tear and know the limits of my capability. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to avoid surgery.

I squat twice a week- one day I go heavy and do it first, the other day I do it after deadlifts and focus on technique. I'm still dealing with hip flexor/abductor tightness/angryness in different ways, but all I can do is beat the shit out of it with a lacrosse ball and take ibuprofen.

re rows:

All pendlay, I feel like pendlay + pull-ups/chin-ups + deadlifts covers my back pretty well
