When cutting I think the best bet is to tell yourself you're not eating for any enjoyment whatsoever. That and making all your meals for the weak ahead and just reheating and eating.

Cutting with IF was fine idk what you guys are on. Just drink green tea and water if you're hungry and tell yourself you aren't hungry and 2 minutes later you won't be hungry TAADAAA

then again i'm back up to my pre-cut weight but i'm doing a whateverbulk where i just eat without giving a fuck because its winter and i don't give a fuck plus working running into all of this is a pain in the ass.

In the past 3 months I've added 40 lbs on my squat, 45 on my bench and 55 on my deadlift, not bad for being pretty damn lazy and stressing over the stupid GMAT. Excited to see what the next 3 months of dedicated training will bring. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I did carb cycling -- so it was 4 days of eating nice high fat foods so long as I kept the carbs below 75g. Nice fatty meats, bacon, cheese, etc.

Would do what GN did and went thru a gallon of Green Tea a day -- really helped with the appetite and also kept me nice and dry and aesthetic

All in all it really wasn't too bad. Only major issue I had was low libido which zinc + mag helped with.

How many cals? Sounds like im doing something similar, but lower calorie total. Also doing 4x/week cardio already frown.gif Hitting about 1.5lb/week too.

I should probably start counting cals and tracking my intake. Fucking hate weighing shit out and everything, and the engineer in me hates guessing. Just cracked a gallon of milk guess I gotta finish the whole thing so I don't have to measure how much is left.

For maintenance I did bw x 15 cals. Then for a standard workout I'd add an additional 400 cals. When I was 180lbs, on a workout day my maintenance would be 3100, so I would eat around 2400 for a -700 deficit. When I start my cut this time, I'll be around 210 lbs, so will cut on 2850.
