Thanks man. Really puts life etc into perspective. Guess I will have to think about being "healthy" instead of just lifting for the sake of lifting.

Huh? Ran into me on reddit? I barely post over there so impressed if you did. Even more impressed that you could tell it was me -- tho I think I may have posted a pic or two on the BBing sub

Fking lawl. Oh well.

Really need to stop posting on that site. Worst community on the internet. Unfortunately it's the default go-to when the rest of the internet sucks and misc has gotten less interesting these days.

The only really good point in Bodybuilding forum is that it has a lot of users so if you're bored, I guess it's good entertainment. Really have to take everything with a big grain of salt though, there's only so few that gives good tip.

Oh I would NEVER go to bb for actual legit advice. I only go for the lulz
post #36519 of 49053
it is good for the lulz

I don't think bb.com forums or the fitness subreddits are that bad, especially for basic advice.

For what it's worth the steron subreddit is really good and informative/entertaining

I trained with that guy IRL. Was def Knucks.

and he hates charly

Finally, if you’re a guy with a long torso and short femurs, we hate you. Seriously. You’re built ideally to squat. Your hips can stay closer to your center of gravity through the whole lift, which means a greater mechanical advantage for moving weight.

If you have great abduction, we hate you even more (I’m joking obviously. Sort of). If you take a moderate stance with a flat sole and push your knees out, your range of motion is about 6 inches and you should eventually be able to squat heaven and earth.

Been doing a lot of reading, and I think when I recover from this cold i'm going to try squatting high bar. Do you guys find it is easier to go ATG with high bar because that's what it seems like based on a lot of literature.

Don't mind me, just 30% femur.
