^ Hi MarkI, FWIW I have been intentionally avoiding this thread because it gets me depressed when I catch up on posts and I can never make the same gains as people here. As much as I get inspired by the results I read here, I find myself at a happier place mentally when at the gym without losing hope and getting frustrated. My weight has dipped down a little, not a solid 160 lb but fluctuates between here and 155.
My body has been injury prone as of late as well with a really bad right elbow tendinitis. Last week my left lat was giving me pain down my back but luckily it was a result of overworking during back day (still trying to get the form down for pendlay rows).
Recent news is that I have been reworking my form as I realized and was told that perhaps it is really poor, which is why I maybe hurting my body and/or plateauing. I lock elbows and arch my [lower] back when not necessary when benching and squatting, respectively. Only thing good is still the deadlifts. Have not benched in a month or more with the barbell, again due to the right elbow so using machines and dumbbells. Have been considering an elbow wrap but have been stubborn. I think someone told me to take some time off since the last time I mentioned it, and I never did.
Almost puked last night hehe. Brother is also squatting singles for 315 @ 185 +/- lb with near perfect form from what I can tell. I'm in awe since we both started lifting squat/DL around the same time.
