I reset on every rep or else you end up bouncing or starting from a sub-optimal position.
On a related note, yesterday the resident OL in our gym decided he was going to drop the fucking bar at the top of every rep of his deadlift.
Thing is, he was only doing 2 plates. And considering they weren't bumper plates, it was annoying as fuck.
