Right as I was thinking "Damn I hit legs hard yesterday and don't feel shit." All the soreness crept up on me while I was sitting for work. Now I got lego mobility.

It's an optical illusion + I'm dropping weight right now as I can make my weight class next week.

My waist for 33" and weighed 210 this morning. Haven't measured my chest during the diet but when I'm eating normally and around 225, my chest is about 47" without a pump and my waist is about 34.5" in the morning. And 36+" once you get some food in me.

But in short, my core is thick. It's a mixture of the angle and me dieting.

I wouldn't call that glorious aesthetics.

Who says you can't have both?

Daniel Green is one of the best powerlifters ever and will look better than any 180 pound 7% bodyfat pheg in boardshorts any day of the week.


But in the end, some people (me) view wanting to look like zyzz in boardshorts is one step away from being a prissy girl. And that lifting heavy weights and getting in the record books is a better use of my time. Not to mention I love what I do.

I've had a really hard time progressing at chins. Was stuck at the same reps with just bodyweight for the longest time, like 3 sets of 7.

Eventually I switched to more sets of lower reps. Doing 4 sets of 4-6 reps now and progressing by adding weight. In my experience, chins and pull ups tend to turn to shit form when you go high reps (rounding shoulders, grip, swinging) so it's better to just add a set instead and make quality reps. I know a lot of other guys hace had the same experience.

that's a good idea. I'm grindnig out the last set of my 3x10 chins. I'll switch to 5 sets of 6 for next time.
