Ugh ankles so tight today. Left late for my yoga class yesterday and had to run most the way as supposed to walking. I never run and running 3 miles in chucks used some muscles I must never use.

I swear I have bed-bound patients with less mobility issues than you guys.

This is what kills me with this mobility shit. You can spend infinite amounts of time researching and performing without any guarantee of marginal improvement. I really think time is better spent hiring someone to figure it out and if they fail, fuck it forever. Or, have it as a hobby I guess, a~la Coldsnap. Everyone needs a hobby.

I guess I never understood the focus on "mobility" when it seems like most of us aren't really limited by a "lack of mobility" to begin with.

I might not have the most flexible hamstrings, but it literally doesn't affect me in the slightest.

Hey man, flexibility is completely different than mobility. You probably have both mobility and flexibility issues due to not spending two hours a day knobbling yourself.

tysm marfans disorder for giving me amazing mobility without the need to do any stretching, knobbling or 'flossing" at all.

How much I knobble in the privacy of my own home is none of your business, thank you very much.mad.gif

Donnie Thompson stresses powerlifters to work on mobility, that's a good enough reason to do it for me. 20 mintues of mobility work also speeds up my recovery like crazy, which I like. Mobility to me is being strong at end range of motions, so at the end of the day strength is still king. If I did bodybuilding I would probably be like most people and not give a shit about mobility.

Noticed that my grip is slipping at like the first 1/4 of the movement on deadlifts. It's like going from the ground to my knees, I'm doing something that's causing it to slip. I was deadlifting 285 today, and was actually slipping a bit up to my knees, and then was able to actually squeeze it back into position for the rest of the movement. Very strange. I wonder if I'm moving the bar out too far to get around my knees or something.
